JazzTrain is a music project started by Steve and Bernie around 1995.
The band can take many forms from duet to 12 piece. Venues we played include, City Hall (London), The Law Society (London), Vortex (Stoke Newington) and Grey Lady (Tunbridge Wells).
Apart from founding Jazztrain, Bernie and Steve are also members of the following bands;
Paseo Malanga: Bernie plays regularly in this street band celebrating the music and colour of the carnival in Santiago de Cuba. They have played and paraded at festivals and carnivals all over the world, from Hackney in London to the rainforest in Borneo! www.PaseoMalanga.co.uk.
Magic Carpet Trio: Steve plays a mixture of gypsy jazz and latin rhythms in this acoustic guitar trio. Line-up; Steve, Juan Carlos, Steve Stanley. www.MagicCarpetTrio.co.uk
Trapeze: A new Tunbridge Wells based venture for Steve. Plays laid back dinner jazz guitar clasics. Line up; Steve, Dennis Jackson and Stuart Gill.
Jan North: Steve and Bernie often team up with vocalist Jan North who they have worked with for a number of years.
